Notice of 2016 Annual General Meeting
The Rules of PrefabNZ Incorporated set out important deadlines in relation to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election of PrefabNZ Board Members.
The AGM will be held on Tuesday 28 June 2016 3.00-3.30pm at the Board Room at Holmes Solutions, Level 2, 254 Montreal Street, Christchurch 8442 (see map). The AGM is open and free to all Members - we hope to see you there!
Election of PrefabNZ Board Members
The PrefabNZ Board currently consists of 10 Board Members on a two-year term and 1 Board Member on a seconded position on an annual renewal basis. We are now seeking nominations for Board Member positions from Financial Members. Nominations must be received by PrefabNZ no later than Monday 6 June 2016. All nominations must be:
a. submitted in writing (using the form accompanying this memorandum);
b. submitted by a Financial Member of PrefabNZ; and
c. contain a short biography of the candidate.
On Monday 13 June 2016 PrefabNZ will send all Financial Members of PrefabNZ copies of the nominations received and ballot papers, if there are more nominations than available positions. Ballot papers are to be received at PrefabNZ by Tuesday 21 June 2016.
If no written nominations are received, and places are available, then nominations from Financial Members shall be accepted by the PrefabNZ Board at the AGM.
Any remit (for proposed Rule changes etc.) that a Financial Member of PrefabNZ wishes to submit to the AGM must be forwarded to PrefabNZ no later than Monday 6 June 2016, using the Remit form accompanying this memorandum.
