Call to be part of the Beijing Green Building Park

August 2012

Following the signing of the Accord between BRE and Vanke at the UK-China Summit in June 2011, the Beijing Green Building Park, part of the BRE Innovation Parks Network, is now being constructed. An area of the Park will showcase the best in sustainable residential construction, demonstrating innovative design and product solutions to meet and drive the demand for sustainable development both in China and around the world.  Vanke, the largest residential developer in the world, is currently presenting an opportunity to world-class international consortia to develop the first residential building in this innovation area.  The winning consortium will be expected to design and build this potential future model for sustainable housing in China.

This project represents an excellent opportunity for British or international companies wishing to develop business in the Chinese market to gain high profile exposure for their products and services.

Vanke and BRE are looking for consortia comprising a combination of several major material or product suppliers who have teamed up with architectural or multidisciplinary design practices or existing developers.

The winning consortium will build their future home design on the high profile Beijing Green Building Park in 2014.

A lead member should complete the pre-qualification questionnaire on behalf of proposed consortium. Participation in this project is a major undertaking.

It is not necessary at this stage to have finalised the exact collaboration, however an indication must be given.
