In June 2019 Perry Group formed a partnership with a 50% investment in the innovative Waikato construction company, TDM Group. TDM Group, which consists of TDM Modular Homes, TDM Joinery and TDM Designer Homes, was ranked in the Deloitte Fast 50 as one of the fastest growing services business in 2018 for the central North Island. They also hold a number of innovation awards.

With a show room in Hamilton and a joinery and modular home factory in Cambridge, the business operates the depth and breadth of New Zealand with modular homes currently under construction on Waiheke Island, in Taupo, Hawke’s Bay and with additional enquiries now coming from the South Island.

Managing Director, Trent Montgomery, who along with his wife Heidi established the business in 2015, says the last four years have been incredibly busy. The awards presented a good opportunity to reflect on TDM’s journey and its substantial growth. Over a 6 month period, TDM Group and Perry Group worked closely together to establish a strong partnership. Both Perry Group and TDM Group hold similar values and beliefs and strive for excellence and quality within their organisations. There are strongly aligned synergies between Perry Group and TDM Group and the knowledge and experience Perry Group bring to the partnership is invaluable. The investment will enable TDM Group to continue to grow the business and become a leader in the construction industry.
