Susan Freeman-Greene to lead a session at CoLab 2018
Susan became Chief Executive of Engineering New Zealand in February 2015. She has worked in senior leadership and management for the last 15 years, heavily influenced by earlier roles as a lawyer and a mediator. Before starting at Engineering New Zealand, she was Chief Executive of the Broadcasting Standards Authority. She has also worked at the Human Rights Commission, as Chief Mediator and Strategic Policy Manager, and for the former Department of Labour.
She values the experience she has gained in both harder-edged legal/compliance/analytic skills and softer-edged but critical relationship, influencing and advocacy skills, and is passionate about the possibilities mediation offers in intractable disputes.
She describes her current role at Engineering New Zealand, with its vision of 'engineering a better life for New Zealanders', as a privilege, a challenge and a fantastic opportunity.
CoLab is the anticipated annual conference of PrefabNZ, its THE prefab and offsite event at the heart of innovative construction #CoLab2018, 7 - 9 March, Auckland. More information on session leaders, programme, site visits and registration click here.
