CoLab Member's workshop expert - Sam Cadden, Logic Group


Sam Cadden, Director of Logic Group (PrefabNZ Members) project managed the build of Otago Polytechnic's new student accommodation, the largest timber structure by volume in NZ. He'll be sharing his knowledge at our CoLab Member workshops on 9 March at pro clima HUB.

Sam Cadden has over 30 years of construction experience combined with 20 years Project Management experience. Sam started his construction career as an apprentice stonemason and upon completion of his apprenticeship, he went to University in Nottingham England.

The Otago Polytechnic Student Village consists of 231 bedroom hall of residence with an even split of domestic and International students, completed January 2018. Sustainably built from Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) – design incorporates passive solar design and a high-performance façade, integrated fit-out to reduce waste and a highly efficient ventilation system.
