Nomination for PrefabNZ Board: Daiman Otto, Tallwood
Daiman’s key professional goal is to create massive change within the built environment industry by leading through example. He created several construction systems focused on affordable housing and exhibited buildings in Australia culminating in creating and building the NanoHouse for FWPA for World Wood Day in Sydney 2015, which was a finalist in the Australian Timber Design Awards ‘Small budget category’.
Daiman co-founded Tall Wood in 2016 after two years of R&D into affordable engineered timber structures. Through this, they have a number of buildings in progress, including The Grounds – a multi-residential development with 70% off-site manufactured components. “For the past 4 years I have enjoyed advancing PrefabNZ’s mission to transform the built environment through collaboration, innovation and business model change as a board Member and Chair, and would love to continue to serve."
PrefabNZ Financial Members will be sent voting information by Tuesday 13 June. For further details about the AGM and Board elections, please see http://www.prefabnz.com/News/AGM2017
