Dr Don Elder confirmed as CoLab keynote speaker
Dr Don Elder, Chair and CEO of Spanbuild Holdings is joining us as the second keynote speaker for CoLab 2017. He has a BE from the University of Canterbury and PhD from Oxford University, and worked around the world for 15 years in engineering and leadership roles before returning to Christchurch. Don will be delving into Big Chunks = panels + pods – an overview of trips, tricks and case studies from Concision’s emerging year.

Pryda ‘floors’ construction industry with innovation that slashes build times
Pryda’s innovative prefabricated floor cassettes combine all the elements of a flooring system – floor trusses, strong backs and particle board flooring – into a number of large but manageable floor panels. The floor cassettes can be up to 10 metres in length and designed to incorporate set downs to accommodate wet areas and balconies. The floor truss joists ensure services and ducting is easily run through the webs without any need for cutting or notching. Prefabricated end types ensure the cassettes slot into place without the need for onsite modification.
