This practice is committed to gaining an understanding of the needs of each client and providing a completed building that gives each occupant or user the best possible experience within a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment.
Adaptable, accessible, affordable and energy efficiency – Don Jamieson Architecture incorporates these principals into their design process and believe prefabrication will aid the delivery of these outcomes with the added benefit of improved quality.
These principals were key drivers behind the design of both a new show home in Aotea and the Sol House, a prototype modular house.
With over 200 completed projects in the education sector Don Jamieson Architecture has extensive experience with the design of new and modification of older prefabricated classrooms. However this model of classroom is outdated for provision of modern learning environments and the practice has been developing designs, incorporating prefabrication systems, suitable for the pedagogy of the 21st century.
